After this wonderful post no one should ever be afraid to use their favorite color no matter what color it is.

Raggiemom, I love, love, love your second quilt - the all yellow one- but then yellow is my FAVORITE color. How can anyone not like such a cheerful color.

To: SarahRachel, Cedar chests & quilts? I hope you have better luck than I with your quilt in a cedar chest. I have a quilt that is over 100 years old that was only stored in a cedar chest the last 25 years & now has terrible stains from the cedar tannins. When my mother tried to donate it, I rescued it to my care. I was shocked when she told me it had been in the "trunk" & I thought she meant the car trunk. Thankfully it was not treated that disrespectfully! I have had no luck getting the stains out. Any suggestions out there? Your quilt is beautiful, as are sooo many on this site. I love to see all the personal ideas of each different artist.
