To all of my new friends on the Quilter's Board
#11
Unfortunately we all lose loved ones from time to time and each of use suffer difficult financial times now and then. The good part is knowing that we have good cyber friends here and our 'in person' friends to help us through.
I hope that each of you have a very Merry Christmas and New Year. For those of you who don't celebrate Christmas, I hope that your holidays are as happy and meaningful to you as my Christmas is to me. I hope that we all find enough peace and love in our hearts to live on this big old ball of dirt together in the years to come.

It's so easy to say "Merry Christmas" and "Happy New Year". Really, sincerely meaning it is another. Our daughter lost her job a couple of years ago and has yet to find one; the family pet died of heart problems; a brother and a sister had been diagnosed with cancer and we live so very far from any of them. I don't like separation of family, even tho' I know that in most cases it can't be helped. I'm trying so very hard to think positive, but it is easier said than done, and I'm sure others are in the same situation. My love to all of you and as my father used to tell me, "You do the best you can, and then you try just a little bit harder". Yes, Daddy, I'm trying.
