It sounds like the mesh that I got at Sam's and Old Time Pottery, comes in rolls! I love it! You can find it here on Ebay, tho I only paid $6.00 a roll, this place has it much cheaper http://www.lacrafts.com/product_p/em...FWrktgodRzHJoA and more here http://www.mardigrasoutlet.com/C185D...Metallics.html I put it under my table top Christmas tree (looked like a cloud and I don't put pachages under that one, and I draped the dining room chandalier with it! Pinterest shows making wreaths, very simple, with it! Good luck!

It is called Deco Mesh and comes in lots of colors in the cards and party department at Hobby Lobby. Also check the seasonal displays in the Valentines display.
It is a popular item, so buy quickly

I'm wondering if maybe she saw it at Sam's in the Christmas Decorating Dept. My daughter bought a large tube of this mesh ribbon for making the wreaths. But I think it's a Christmas item.

Interesting. I saw some of "whatever that is" used in beautiful flower funeral wreaths recently, too. It was sooooo pretty!!
