It sounds like the mesh that I got at Sam's and Old Time Pottery, comes in rolls! I love it! Pinterest shows making wreaths, very simple, with it! Good luck!

I'm wondering if maybe she saw it at Sam's in the Christmas Decorating Dept. My daughter bought a large tube of this mesh ribbon for making the wreaths. But I think it's a Christmas item.

Interesting. I saw some of "whatever that is" used in beautiful flower funeral wreaths recently, too. It was sooooo pretty!!
