Thanks for the hint Jacquie. I did trim after I sewed it...but I think I didn't leave a big enough hole to "birth" it. When I did it the second time, I did leave a little bit bigger hole so maybe that is probably why it was easier to turn.
Practice, Practice and more practice. That is how I will learn and learn by mistakes. Everybody here is so helpful with their tutes and hints. I learn alot here. Thank-you and hugs to all!!

The first pattern I received said to leave a 1 1/2" opening which was way too small, so I upped it to 3". I don't know how anyone could have turned it with a 1 1/2".

It looks like they cut up the 9 patch some way. Not the same as this block.
