Hmmmmm, were you by any chance making DH a quilt when this problem became so apparent?

Great idea! Funny thing is, 3 weeks ago I made 4 flannel boards measuring 18" x 24" for my school teacher daughter to use in her classroom. I still have leftover flannel and spray glue here. Guess I know what I will be making this afternoon! Thanks for the idea

you can get a plastic table cloth(with the flannel backing) from the dollar store and cut it the size of your blocks and use a selvage or pretty ribbon or strip of fabric and roll it up and tie it till you can get back to it. My DSIL made everyone at our sit and sew one and they are great. Happy sewing

My guy made me a 48"x48" design wall board (covered in batting) and we hung it on the wall. He said it took him about 20 min to make. i love it. just the right size and lightweight. I do stick pins in (paper reminders etc) if needed.

I love a design wall board. My guy made me a 48x48 inches wall board covered in batting. Handy, handy. Love it. And we hung on the wall just right for my height. Have fun with yours.

Actually we're designing a quilt together & I have to learn how to use my Quilt-Pro software so I can make the quilt. He got bacon, eggs & toast the next morning for breakfast though! ;-)

i have a piece of foamboard (insulation) from the hardware store and covered it with flannel. it is lightweight and easy to move around. Have a larger one and smaller one to use. Same idea, just a different base product. I dont have a place for an entire quilt though. But these help.
