Welcome from northeast CA. Glad you joined us. This is definitely the right place for help and/or inspiration. Although, my husband wouldn't say quilters are "normal".LOL

Welcome dallasnewsgirl!! I dont know about normal but quilters are wonderful people and you will be made to feel at home here! I once read a sign which said Normal is just a setting on a washing machine!!

Guess it depends on your definition of "normal"! Hello and welcome from Perth, Western Australia. This is a great site, with lots of very helpful and talented people....You will learn "heaps" and yes, quilting just has this way of banishing stress the moment you pick up that fabric and start to create...it's almost like being in another world. Happy quilting.

Hi and Welcome from Northern Indiana ! Quilting is very relaxing. So is playing with the fabric, calms the nerves. But calling me normal, that is a stretch  My male friend always tells me I need professional help after he spends the day with my at fabric stores  I tell him and my sons someday ( if I live to be 200!) I will use all this fabric
