Why do they always want more for a table like that than one with a machine and cabinet?

Nancy, Those tables do make a good cutting table. My DH put a door across the legs and made a table for me but also had to mount the legs on a 2X4 to raise it up to cutting height. I love mine.

I'm not sure I'd call them reproductions at all. I think the 15 has been in constant production since its introduction and they keep making them because they sell. The design is simple, tested and reliable. They're probably easy enough to do crude repairs on if the user doesn't have easy access to a proper shop. Cutting some corners on the tolerances and materials is par for the course if you're trying to keep the price low enough for large numbers of not-very-affluent people to be able to afford them.

I don't know who imports these to the US but I just saw one in a local Craigslist add. Not the pretty butterfly decals so I won't bother

Some people even manage to mess up Sharon...they add extra letters or just spell it totally wrong. Someone tried to shorten it to Shar....not gonna happen. I've had it spelled Sharron,Sherrin,Sharyn.... My sister is Kathy so she gets it. All the variations on Weaver are just ridiculous.

After so many years I think I have gotten use to people not spelling or even calling me by my right name. My name is Anamaria, and even at work I have been asked what do you want to be called? I always tell them Anamaria, that is my name. I have been called Ann, Maryann, Annemarie, Ana, etc. And no one gets the spelling correct, I have 4 name badges, all with a different spelling. The one name that I always makes me stop and look is "mom" out of habit. When the 3 kids were small, I even thought my name was "Mom"

Anamaria, that is funny - the Mom thing! I think we all have done that - even after you are a grandmother - when someone yells Mom we all turn around! Wait tell you are a grandmother! Everywhere I go I hear Gramma! I always think it is for me!

Well Nancy is pretty hard to mess up. I have never been called anything but Nancy, although, sometimes people want to spell it with an 'i' or an 'ie.' Well sometimes people want to call me 'Nanc' even my brothers do that - so I don't mind!

For years I thought Kenneth was pretty simple, but three different people in the last few months have made it Kennith or Kennit. If I go by Ken it becomes Kent or Kim, even when it's written down.

Ha I know what you mean about the Mom thing. One time about 30 some years ago. Ahem. I was at a factory fabric sale. I was wondering around buying fabric - I had my hand on a kid's head for a while. Then he looked up and I looked down - wasn't my kid. He was the right height, his hair was sorta right, he had on a blue coat... LOL I betcha you don't wanna do that these days... Oh and my kid wasn't along.
