Oh....my......goodness!!! What a beautiful work of quilting. I can only dream that I will ever be able to attempt such beauty. Thanks so much for sharing. I can understand why it would be hard to return it to your sister.

Wow! You did such beautiful quilting that it's hard to tell that it was 'cheater' cloth. I wouldn't want to give it back either.

At one time, my sister was hand quilting small projects and she wanted to try a larger one, so she bought this at Joanns. Well, life got in the way and she's not really interested in hand quilting anymore. We did find other vintage tops (not sure who made them) in her closet that I"ll be finishing, too. One is a really old sunbonnet sue. It needs some work before I can quilt it but I'm looking forward to it!

Your quilting is absolutely spectacular. Do you have any idea where it came from or why it was in her closet? Left there by someone who lived there before? You've created a treasure, would love to know more about it.

This is gorgeous!! I wish I had fabric like that. Haven't seen any. Also wish I could quilt like that!! What did you use to quilt it? And do you quilt for others?
