The quilt is based on a pattern by Deb Karasik. I did surface stitching with Glitter thread on all the stars, with a cut-away interfacing on the back, to support the stitching. Then with cotton batting and backing, I stitched in all the ditches then did a feather design around most of the star design. In between the feather and the star and outside the feather, I fmq lots of different designs in the black Batik background. It's 54" X 54".
