Red face Looking for a quilt pattern

My husband says years ago he came across an amish star quilt for sale that he really loved, but couldn't afford. I'm wanting to recreate it but he doesn't remember what it was called. He thinks they told him it was called a Starburst quilt pattern. He says it was similar to the Lemoyne star quilt, only there are no squares at the corners the star went all the way to the edge . I hope you can help me, this is the only description he has of it and I searched and he says the ones I found are not quite right.

Can't help with the pattern, but I have to wonder if the block was a hexagon or octogon. Had to take rays all the way to the end of a square block.

And ask him what colors. Remember a true Amish block will have only solid colors, generally heavy on black.

If you google "starburst quilts" you will get lots of images - perhaps one of them is the quilt he remembers? Or you might try looking at Amish quilts on some of the web sites that sell them, such as Amish Country Lanes.

True, but I was think of rays that start in the center and radiate out. Thanks for the link

Do a Google image search, for Star Quilt Patterns. Maybe he'll spot 'his' quilt.

Thank you, he said that it was blue and purple? He also said it looked like it was all stars within stars, within stars? I tried an image search and he said that the ones I found were close but not the one like he saw.
