Hello Carole and welcome to the QB. glad you joined us. Beautiful is the perfect word for all of them. I absolutely love the purple and green log cabin, could it be because my favorite color is purple - no way lol. Your work is just lovely ad you are to be commended for these beauties. I would never make quilt by hand, because I hate hand sewing, and the quilt would never get finished. My least favorite part of making a quilt is the binding, it is really a chore for me to sew it down by hand, but I don't like the look I get when I have done it all on the machine- and ripping out is not my favorite thing to do either. Looking forward to seeing more of your beauties. Thanks for sharing Steve.

Steve,
Your mother's quilts are fantastic. It's easy to see why you are so proud of her work! Thanks for brightening my day on a very cold morning with more snow and cold on the way for the rest of the week and weekend. When I have to go outside in the cold, I'll just think of the beautful handiwork and it will keep me smiling.

I agree. I would NEVER have that kind of patience or persistence. Fabulous quilts and we look forward to your mom joining us, with more pictures.

Just so there is no confusion, the new member CaroleH is my mom! (The person who does these hand quilts)
