All are gorgeous! I particular LOVE that sampler (am tucking this one away as an idea) and the Eight Point Star! Those points! So perfect! Congratulations to your mother and to you for being such a proud son!

ALL are very nice. Your mom has done WONDERFUL work, but the last one (blues & greens) can come live with me. I have just fallen in love with it. WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL

Many quilters hand sew their quilts (I do), but neither the hand-sewn nor the "machine" quilts take away from the beauty of the design, and the dedication of the quilters. We all quilt because we want to, and however it gets accomplished is up to the individual

Totally awesome quilts! I'm so impressed with hand quilting, which I don't do. I tried once and wasn't very good at it. Your mom is super talented!

They are all so beautiful; but my favorite is the star. I would love to make one lie that in a king size. I wonder how big I would have to make the diamonds? Any one know?
