Default Finished this comfort quilt, posted the flimsy before I think.

This comfort quilt is for my nephew. He was just this week matched for a bone marrow transplant with his sister! I wrote on the label, "Wrapping you in the warmth and love of family and friends, and the strength and courage of your 'Heros'."
Hero's is the name of the quilt, as the silhouettes are of men he greatly admires; John Wayne, Larry Bird and Willie Mays.
I will tell him Willie is not batting lefty, we are just looking at him from really good seats behind the batters' box. LOL... I didn't have enough of the black to redo it and clearly I forgot to reverse the image. It's not a mistake, of course not, I,,, ummmm, I did it as a topic of conversation... yeah that's it. Something to talk about during his chemo treatments.

His teams are the Raiders, the A's and the Celtics.

Your hero's quilt is so nice. How thoughtful of you to put silhouettes of his Hero's on the quilt. It really makes it unique.

Wonderful quilt Linda! You just wanted all the silhouettes to face the same way, right?
