I don't have a long arm, and do FMQ on all my machines although my favourite is my Elna 720 which makes it a doddle.
I just wish I could do a Apple core quilt

Marta I echo the sentiments of the others.....it's beautiful. I love quilts made out of clothing, they have a charm you just can't get with new fabric. Thanks for sharing and demonstrating our craft can be achieved using fabric from almost anywhere! Happy quilting (and your quilting looks pretty good to me).

I think it looks great. You have to continue to practice. That is the key. I think you are just being too hard on yourself. It looks a little puffy (which I like) but did you use polyester batting or cotton? The cotton or 80/20 is the best for machine quilting. That might help. You should be proud of this.
