Nice machine. Don't know if this will work or not. But it is from a Jones-cylinder-shuttle manual.

this one must be older because the threading is so different the tension plate thing is on the side not the front ...but the bullet looks the same ....thanks so much for your help .....

I don't think it (the thread) goes through the slat. try it by just going through the tension or raised piece in photo one.

My daughter got her first treadle for Christmas. Her husband bought it off cl. The name on it is "New Stockman" I have looked everywhere online and can find out NOTHING about it. Does anyone know of this brand or where I can get some information about it? There are attachments but no manual with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Linda

The "New Stockman" in the ad is made by Davis SMCo out of Dayton, Ohio. The National Stockman and Farmer was was publication for "rural living". Here's another ad:

Possible New Stockman was made by more than one manufacturer so picture is best.
