Your posting made my day. Your quilt is beautiful, and so is your mom. I love all the pretty colors in it, and the title of it is so perfect. The quilt name piece you put on the back of the quilt is so pretty too. I am sure she cherishes it.
What made my day besides the obvious was reading about your one request. My own dear mother who hasn't been with us since 2012 always said the same thing about the quilts she made us. The other day I was looking at a crocheted pot holder I have kept hanging up on the side of a cabinet but didn't want to use it, then I could hear her say that, and took down that pot holder and put it on a little shelf above the sink and placed a very decorative dish I have on top of it to hold the glycerin facial soap I keep there for me. So now I am using it as a pretty small crocheted mat under my pretty soap holder.
