And on this piece, I basecoated, and then adhered tissue paper to the surface, giving some texture. The acrylic paints I have (have quite a bit from years of this hobby) seem to paint so flat. I really want to explore the heavy body acrylic paints but have so many paints, it seems silly to purchase more. I may try the heavy gel gloss medium to see if I can mix with the paints I have for more body.
