we went to one and I just wore a dressy pant outfit with a tunic type top. It it's going to be here in Texas dress as cool as you can with all the body heat that will be surrounding you. They usually have quite a variety of food and depending if it's catered (you can ask the servers) what is spicy to your liking and what is not. Dress comfortable believe me they will be looking at her as if she's a bride. She is the star of the show!! Have fun!!

You can wear what you'd wear to a wedding. Some of them are really over the top with friends in attendance too. They hire a professional photographer, dj and big cake. enjoy

Its the equivalent of a "coming out ball" like in the old days. The young woman celebrates her 15th birthday with a "Quinceneara" The day starts with a Mass in the Catholic Church and a reception following. The parents host it with food, music and a dance. It's a big "to-do" in some families. It's origin is Spanish.
