    Default Jelly Roll Race?

I know after watching the tutorial on this quilt that you use a jelly roll and all the colors in the jelly roll go together. What I was wondering if anyone ever made a jelly roll out of your 2.5 inches scraps. I have a lot of pieces of fabric that are 2.5 inches left over from binding and was wondering if anyone made a scrappy jelly roll quilt and what did it look like with all the different color fabric from all different lines of fabric.
I would love to hear from anyone that made a quilt like this .. Thanks

You can add a constant color square to the end of each strip to give it a balanced look and still be scrappy. My guild makes jelly roll race quilts by the dozens at sew day for donation quilts. Every strip is used from everyone's scrap pile. Some have added squares, some use one solid same color strip every four or five strips, etc.

Yes, but I had a jelly roll that was made out of 42 different batiks. My best friend chose it as her favorite. I put a neutral square between the ends. If you make scrappy with different size strips, it will be even better.

Yes, I did that although I made them focusing on a certain color. For example, I cut 2 1/2 inch strips from all of my purple or anything had purple in it for one top and I did another with pink/maroon.

I made one with all my pinks and greens, plus put a 2.5 black and white print (the same one) in
"random" places. I say "random" because it only looks like that; I planned where to put them before I started so that
    they were balanced.

I made one a couple years ago for DGD using brights and 3 inch strips. It turned out great, though huge! Don't have a photo though.

I made one and then appliqued on it. I cut my strips 3 inches so it came out a little bigger. Oh and I also sewed a white square at the beginning of each strip.
