I couldn't quite make out anything irregular about her blocks or sashing but you actually need to see it in 'person' to be able to see that detail. Apart from that the quilt looks gorgeous and the quilting fantastic! Well done!

I want to inquire about more information on your quilting. It's hard to tell from the picture but did you simply stitch over the "sticks" and the sashing or did you stop and go over those? When I first saw this post, I thought it would be a perfect quilt for my 8 yr old grandson but questioned how to do the quilting of those large blocks. Will appreciate your suggestion on how to do this. Love the idea of the straight stitching!
