It sometimes feels like I am reading another language, even though it is all in English.
I do have to say that some things were a lot easier to get to in XP, but that is how progress is. Hopefully you will have more things that are better and only a few headaches. Hope you all find a happy medium, because it is never going back to the way it was.

10 would have made more since if you'd been coming from 8, that was a mess. I know one person who had things not to work with 10, both of my laptops updated without any problems, I didn't even have to enter those log digit codes in to activate it. I still like 7 best mainly because that is what I was used to. I loved my Commodore pc and hated the Win one when it came out. I got used to NT and win 3 and the win 8 came out. It's all a process of growing. I've gotten a lot of help from Microsoft online dealing with 8 and 10. Change can be hard I'll admit that. I work in the IT dept and we are changing things here that will cause me lots of more work in the long run to complete task but upper management is in control and we have to go with the flow.

If you all have a system restore set on your pc you can use it to go back to Win 7 without losing any data. I almost took my Win 8 back but knew at some point and time I'd have to end up using it because that would be the only thing out there.
