Glad you got as much done as you can, with the sometimes slow response of family. I know how hard it is to get family to do little things like a quilt block for someone!
So glad she got to see what she did before her passing. I am sure it makes you feel good to know you did as much s you did. You will cherish it for many years.

I, too, am sorry for your loss. One would hope that at 99 she had lived a wonderful life. Your handprint quilt was a great idea and I'm sure she treasured it in the months she had it. Hold on to your best memories of her.

I like your idea of the family block for those who didn't respond. That way everyone is represented. Wonderful quilt, I"ll bet she loved it very much. So sorry for your loss.
