Default Striped quilt - need help

I have made quite a few quilts over the years. Now we are getting ready to move and I decided it was time to use up the leftovers. With what I had, I decided to make a striped quilt with a black block running diagonal from end to end. Now to get started. I have the stripes cut, sewed and pressed. How would you suggest I go about putting it all together?

I think I understand what you're trying to do - a diagonal jelly roll race with the individual strips starting/ending with a black square? If that's the case, all you need to do is join the strips with a 2.5 x 2.5 black square, and use the link above to make it all diagonal.
