    I hope these suggestions are helpful; I think quilts with blocks of different sizes are so interesting. I will be anxious to see yours. And, feline fanatic, your quilts are great; I especially like the first one. It has so much visual impact without sashing.

    Thank You everyone for all your replies. I am going to try these. Hopefully it comes out right. I love all the pictures of everyones quilts. At my age (80) I have to hurry and make as many quilts as I can. I should have started making quilts 40 years ago.
