I try to cut my fabric scraps into the largest square I can get out of it, I have a box for 6.5", 5", 2.5" squares, then another box for 2.5" long strips-at least fat quarter size, and then another box of 2.5" strips of smaller lengths. anything less then 2.5" goes into my stuffing bag. I make stuffed animals for children in my area and use the scraps/trimmings for that.

Batting scraps-I'll piece together larger pieces to make little crafts but otherwise I chop them up and add them to my stuffing bag.

I’m a saver too. the batting scraps are cut up to use for rag quilts or, if the pieces are large enough, I zigzag them together. The fabric is cut into useable square sizes and strips put into a bin for string piecing.

Most of the time I use it to bind the quilt I cut it from.

I am a “scrapaholic”. I save it all and I organize the scraps every January. I make donation quilts from a lot of the scraps in January and February. I donate the tops to my church where they quilt and bind them for a battered women’s shelter. Last year I Made 21 tops. I have a large stash but seem to gravitate to my scraps when I want to start a quilt.

I save them too if they're larger enough to be called scraps.

I knew that but the thought never crossed my mind to put the scraps in the washing
machine. I think next time I wash a small quilt, I will put the scraps in a pillowcase.
Just have to remember to do it. LOL

I save the scraps and pass them on to another lady that makes dog beds. Of course she is welcome to save out anything she likes. :-)

I use to toss most of them but now, I have a lined garbage can that I put them into and when full I make cat/dogs beds to donate to shelters or friends that have pets. Sadly our pet passed away years ago and haven't replaced him.
