    Very good job. I like the idea of the black border, but would probably put 1 or 2 narrow borders inside that. Maybe red and turquoise.

    AS you ask, I think two borders or three,#1 - I think a flange or tiny 1/4" to 1/2" to enclose the quilt, probably black, would lend itself to soft framing as the design and color combinations present as bold, softer so the eye is drawn to the quilt itself then - still use two colors, narrow and wider, pick your favorites like the blues and lavenders, whatever YOUR favorites are. What is in the room where the quilt will live? I love your work. Thank you for sharing your quilt and the name of your quilt pattern. That is so considerate.

    This is stunning. I would go with an all black border, and quilt the border in straight lines, 1/2" apart.
