Robin, it's never easy to lose a loved one, especially a parent. But each of us has their end of life, and if it is after 90+ years, how wonderful is that!! My dad passed away 2 years ago 5 days after Thanksgiving, at the grand age of 94 years. He was happy to go. He had lost the ability to do things he loved doing, and had become melancholy over that. He was in good health until his death by heart failure, and it came on rapidly. We were very blessed by this, and we know he was too. Our memories are rich and wonderful of the Dad/Husband/Grandpa he was, and all he contributed to our lives and who we are. Our grandkids still miss "Greatgrandpa", and we all talk of him often.

I am also the praying kind, and I will pray for peace and comfort for your family when your MIL's time is over. He knows our hours, and numbers them, and knows when our end will come. He knows. That's what gives me comfort. Hope it does you, too.

    Janice

Now only I discovered that the doll quilt for Lacelady had reached her safe and sound. Since I noticed that you have long hair, you would use that flower hair accessary, you can arrange the flowers turning over and changing the manners.
There are many unique kind of KitKats here in Japan, hope you enjoy it.

Robin, I am sorry to hear that you are having a hard time to get through. I did not know about this when we PMed each other while you are having this. I am sorry.
I hope I can make the next doll quilt to exchange with you would be the one that would cheer you up somehow.

    Youme

What a great quilt youme! You always outdo yourself! Lacelady, watch those Cheezas! I am totally addicted to the brie-flavored ones. They are so good!

Robin, good wishes to you and your family. You are smart to remember the fun and funny times. They'll always cheer you.
