Once again thank you so much for the wonderful gifts. I really enjoy these swaps and the challenge involved in putting together a good package within the budget. i hope they are going to continue as I have built up quite a stash of things to send out so that I only have to make something personal and can then get my package sent out earlier. To the person waiting on this month's parcel from me I will post again once I have checked on the tracking. I know it was in customs but often I dont get any more information on the tracking until it is delivered. Eileen
Thank you Eileen, as of today, no pkg...but hopefully this week..:)

You can help me out, if you have mailed and your secret pal has not pm'ed you, send them a pm to see if they have gotten it and remind them to pm me. We need to have alot of people off the bench before we can start sign ups for June.
I've been participating in this swap for and entire year and I CANNOT BELIEVE that there are 67 people who haven't sent their packages yet. That's more than 1/3!! The mailing deadline was over a week ago! I sent and received my packages early in the month. So why am I so outraged by this?
Because I believe that signing up for the swap and then not sending your package by the mailing deadline is just irresponsible!!

We have 2 weeks to get the packages out after finding out who our partner is. If you can't get your package out within the alloted time, then DON'T sign up!! It has been such a delight to participate in this swap. I would be very disappointed if it got pulled because people can't follow the rules!!
Amen to you! I totally agree!

Well the bench has been abandoned by me. I rec'd the most fantastic "firmy" package from Mary aka havplenty!!! She stuffed that box full!!
It had 3 beautiful gemstone necklaces, a santa panel, a set of red hat coasters, 2 red hat pot holders, red hat heart shaped pin cushion, red hat key chain, red hat scarf, a spice set, cook book, chop sticks (to turn applique shapes), book of poems, pack of buttons, a planner calendar, And for my sweet tooth a bag of YUMMY oreo crunch pop corn and a box of junior mints. Also a post card of her home town of St Louis, a beautiful hand made birthday card with red hats and a sweet note. THANKS SO MUCH Mary!!! crafty_linda_b

May SP Goodies!!

I had a lovely firmy this weekend from Ila (Sunflower Girl). It was full of lovely fabric, sewing notions and candies!

Thank you Ila for all your time, effort and not least your lovely generosity.

I am one of the late senders - a late sender offender!
I felt it was courtesy to let Lori know and posted an apology earlier on here that I was late .

Sadly, as I am in the UK it will take some time to get to its destination. I had fun putting it together, although it was a rush - sometimes life does get in the way. A good friend found that her wedding dress did not fit and pleaded with me to alter it (the wedding is this week) after I had signed up. It is the first offence for me.

I have a large assessment to complete and hand in by July, so I will think long and hard before signing up again unless I can get the next swaps out on time.

So, please think before you say too many harsh words about those of us who are late.

Sue

We are down to 46 who have not received their package. Better all the time and I still have not heard back from everyone who I send pms to today. So far only one was upset with me and I hope it is just a misunderstanding.
