Well, here is a picture of my firmy I received today from gzuslivs. I got a nice bag with tulips, a handmade mug rug in my favorite colors, a needle threader/cutter, lavender hand lotion, a fat quarter with the ocean & boats, and a fat quarter with sea gulls, some background fabric that I needed, a snowman in a jar, a hand made mini coaster pin to wear. It is so tiny, I do not know how she made it. It is really cute. And last but not least, the most wonderful Seattle chocolate milk chocolate bar. It sure is yummy in my tummy, LOL. Thank you very much.

well grammynan i had to mail my package a little later than i wanted to. and that is because my SP is a red hatter and i wanted to send her something representative of that. i ordered all of her red hat stuff and then had to fashion some of it into other items for her. it took time to search for red hat stuff, order it, receive it, refashion it and mail it out. from her response (crafty_linda_b) it was all worth the effort and the wait hopefully.

all late mailers are not being irresponsible. one of the fabrics i ordered got sent to me late so i waited for it so that i could make the special things that i made. i do however, agree that there are some who just don't keep the commitment, don't mail their packages and don't communicate what is going on either. that i would consider irresponsible.

life does happen while we are all trying to have fun and the rest of us may not know what another person's situation is. hopefully those who are having trouble will at least reach out to the host and relay that. fortunately there are swap angels active that will make sure there is no one who goes without a SP package.

Because I believe that signing up for the swap and then not sending your package by the mailing deadline is just irresponsible!!

We have 2 weeks to get the packages out after finding out who our partner is. If you can't get your package out within the alloted time, then DON'T sign up!! It has been such a delight to participate in this swap. I would be very disappointed if it got pulled because people can't follow the rules!!

I am sure it is Lori..With this many people it is hard to keep up with PM's..I can not even begin to imagine how many you get..

I'm the guilty party and I apologized big time! I have to say I was tired and grouchy and should not have answered her til later. Oh well water under the bridge now and all is well again. I hate being at odds with anyone.

A big thanks to LynnC thank you so much for the lovely package 2 diiferent yards of fabric lovely bright sunny colours, I am going to Spain in four weeks and I will have to find time to use them to make myself a beach tote. Sewing machine needles, three packages of buttons which I love, a template for a double wedding ring quilt wow, it seems so complicated but my son is hoping to get married in the next year or two so I could maybe give it a go!! two key rings from Lynn's business she runs (tupperware) which my grandaughters are having great fun with. Some Jelly Belly sweets and Hersey nuggets (which are gone!). Lynn also enclosed a long letter which told me a little about herself which was really nice, it makes a lovely connection. I always enclose a card but I think in future I will send a proper letter as it was so nice to receive one. Hopefully I havent missed anything. i got my husband to take a picture so I will ask him to load it and will try to post it. Lynn if you took a picture feel free to post. Once again thank you so much for the wonderful gifts. I really enjoy these swaps and the challenge involved in putting together a good package within the budget. i hope they are going to continue as I have built up quite a stash of things to send out so that I only have to make something personal and can then get my package sent out earlier. To the person waiting on this month's parcel from me I will post again once I have checked on the tracking. I know it was in customs but often I dont get any more information on the tracking until it is delivered. Eileen
Thank you Eileen, as of today, no pkg...but hopefully this week..:)

Hi Elaine
Have checked on package, still not through customs hopefully wont be too long, at least you know it is on its way. Eileen
Thanks for checking...I'll let you know immediately when I receive it..:)

Mary your package to me was well worth the wait. You took great care to send stuff that pertained to all my likes!! The red hat items were just precious. I love the santa panel. I'll have plenty of time to get him done for the holidays. My grandsons & I shared some of the "Oreo" popcorn!! That stuff could be dangerously addictive!! You were more than generous with all the gifts you sent for me. I really appreciate them and will enjoy using them. Can't wait to look thru the cook book for some different recipes to try out. I love the gemstone necklaces you sent. They will be perfect for my crazy red hat days!! I look forward to sitting quietly and reading the book of poems. I am always forgetting stuff so the planner may help me keep on track!! Thanks so much again!! crafty_linda_b

Thank you Darlene for all my goodies. She sent me some pretty FQs, chocolate-covered peanuts (my favorite), a darling little bunny figurine, a cute bunny pencil top. Some carrot seeds for my bunnies, a Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Special magazine and some sewing machine needles. Oh, yeah, some Reese's Pieces, my other favorite candy. Thanks again so much; I love everything.

Darlene ~ I would like you to pm me, too. My son and fam live in Fortuna and we were just their for their wedding/vow renewal. I didn't get to the famous Loleta Cheese Factory due to time issues. But I will be over there again in a few months and would like to meet up somewhere and have lunch. My son is a CHP there. Nurse Bonnie

There are times when life seems to get in the way of life. My SP hasn't let me know if she has received her package yet but when I pm'd her she told me that she has been at the hospital for a week as her DAD is critically ill. She apologized and said she would check and see if it is there as soon as she gets home. So, there are exceptions.

You can help me out, if you have mailed and your secret pal has not pm'ed you, send them a pm to see if they have gotten it and remind them to pm me. We need to have alot of people off the bench before we can start sign ups for June.
