Have been reading all the answers to Barb"s questions and you are certainly an ambitious bunch. I'm just a simple person so my

    1. Favorite quilt block is anything that can have KINDA straight seams...I have macuular degeneration and there are no STRAIGHT lines in my life right now.

    2. Quilt gadget will have to be my seam ripper...see item 1.

    3. Beat sewing advice. Select pattern carefully, Go Slow and Don't get frustrated or give up

    4. Favorite quilt site besides this one... New one to me is The Curious Quilt

5 .Name other crafts. I enjoy machine embroidery

Hello to all, best wishes and may you all enjoy good health

I wrote this, but probably didn't hit post.

On Mon., I finally get my abscessed tooth pulled at university hospital. Have had the infection for 3 months, and boy, am I sick!

Another site I like to go to is: Free Motion Quilting Project. The lady is under 30 yrs. old, and very creative! A good place for starting. She started out just wanting to make just 365 free motion quilting designs on video, but now she's made over 500!

    1) What is your favorite quilt pattern? Anything with stars especially Lemoyne stars
    2) What quilt gadget that you can not live without? Bloc loc rulers
    3) Best sewing advice... Always buy extra fabric. Than what you need. And if there is half yard left from the bold go ahead and ask for discount but go ahead and get it all. One day you'.ll say to yourself " should have. Gotten that last piece"
    4) Favorite quilt site besides "the quilting board". Quilting blogs- what are quilters blogging about.
    5) Name other crafts you do besides quilting....handpainting

Hey Goldendog, do you not love Leah Day?? That project really inspired me to work on my FMQ and do patterns instead of just echo and stitch in the ditch. I was afraid because I thought it was so difficult to do FMQ on a domestic, but her blog posts were great!
