Well here it is September 1st ......and I did not reach my goal of 125 blocks complete. ALMOST...121. Sigh!
The last two weeks of August flew. I was up in Burks Falls and back to Guelph and again up to Georgian Bay. But I did work on them, honestly. This one is almost done. Does that count for 122?

You're only 4 blocks (oh well, 3 1/2) short MaryK! I didn't make any DJ block this month. I bought a Craftsy class about learning applique so I think I'll take that class before getting back to DJ. I am NOT good at applique but I want to learn

    I'm baaaaaaaack .... well sorta!

Anael .... Absolutely Spectacular!!!! Congratulations on your inclusion in the show ... I am sure there are many oooohs and aaaaahs at the LQS, as people see your quilt. I'm with OKSGlad, as to how the colours have shown so well in this pic, and how unified and blended it all looks. Hope you get a pic of your Funky Chicks before they are taken down.

MaryK ... not even one DJ for me in August, so you are way ahead of me. You'll be able to add that extra 3-1/2 to your September group and be on track for September's tally. You've done some more amazing Canadian wildlife work. I think that latest fox just looks like he is rolling around on the ground and playing like a silly pup!\

So, no DJ eye candy from me for August!
Hopefully for September .... but it is going to be crazy-hectic too, so not going to hold my breath on that either!

    Thanks all
QuiltE, I know nothing about oooooooohs and aaaaaaaaahs as I only was there a short while. I didn't get a pic of the Funky Chicks myself but I do have a picture from the LQS with the Chicks in it. Will have to find it again

You are bringing your quilts home Anael and today I take 5 of my quilts to the quilt store so they can incorporate them into their fall/Halloween display. I better get moving on those two table runners as they want them, too. Ah, the wonderful feeling of being wanted.
