    Default BH 2017 Mystery Quilt

Here's what I dug out of a huge gift bag full of scraps I received October 27th at my Project Linus group sewing day. It's a start and I have a couple more bags of scraps to go through before I hit my bins.
I'm ready to go. Plus I belong to a Bonnie Lassies group and we're going to start having a party when the clues come out and have a sewing marathon. Should be fun. Last year we shared fabrics and parts if we had more than we needed.

Nice start on your 'collection', Tucky! I love your bold selection of neutrals. They are going to add spice to your quilt.

It's works like a charm. I used some scrapbooking tape to stick it to my table/machine and sewed a number of things with it. (I'm webbing my MIL Christmas Quilt.) The 'card' makes a great seam guide, but also it's thickness is just perfect for a couple layers of fabric to it's a snap to glide your finger over the card & fabric as you sew.

I'm hooked now! Everything I've learned from Bonnie has just been fantastic. Webbing being my all-time favorite technique.
Once I started doing this (seam guide), my accuracy improved so much! I'll never go back!

Marcia, Thanks so much for the DMC numbers & color names. My screen doesn't show the true colors of the fabrics or chips. I sometimes have made substitutes for ones I have more of or I like better. I'm now doing my happy dance!

Hairquilt, your En Provence is wonderful, spot on, etc....happy dance for you. My top is finished but way down the line to get quilted.

The corals there in the middle row are what I just got from Whittles, plus the 4 pinkish ones. I was very happy with the order. Bottom row came from my stash or LQS.
