I hope you feel better soon. I hate taking steriods. I feel like I can't do anything. My hands are so shaky when I'm them and I stay up all night.

I've been working on my row this past weekend. I have 3 blocks done and plan to finish the rest by the end of the week.

Sigh, so I've been looking at my blocks and looking at them. I love the patterns, I love the fabric. But what on earth am I doing using white as a background. That will last like 5 minutes in my house.

Challenge for final three blocks will be to use no white. So, row buddies, do not feel any need to use any white in the rows you make to go with mine.

i try not to wear white because after 5 minutes i am no longer wearing white :)

I think white is a classic and it is so hard not to use it. Black doesn't seem right for 30's reproductive prints. But, like i said before, not my colour palette so I am no expert.

I think I'll just use the lighter prints for the background on the remaining three blocks which will balance and minimize the amount of white. The nice thing about scrappy is that you almost can't go wrong. If you have color values that are similar, but prints are different they will still look good. I call these the sherbert colors because that is what they remind me of. You are right of course, I probably wouldn't add a lot of black to this selection, but you probably wouldn't go wrong with teal, turquise, tan, cream, light blue,etc..

Hi, Debe
I received your row yesterday. I really need to get started on my row. I already have an idea for your row, but will let it stew a bit before I start.
