Here is my February block, I really need to explain again......

It's our last month of summer very hot and humid, so I have added the yellow for the heat and sun, but it is also our wet season here in the north of Australia, storms, floods, cyclones (hence the umbrellas) and the grey background.

I love all your blocks, well done to everyone!!

Carolyn..........What a great Heart Cat block for February. It is definately different with the umbrella's & it is just darling. This is another thing I so enjoy with these BOM projects, everyone can be themselves & make their blocks however they want to. We are all enjoying the different variety's of patterns that every one is coming up with. Oh what fun!! Thank you so much for sharing your block with all of us. Very nice work.

    Thankyou Sulabug and Deecee.

I am so looking forward to Autumn as well Deecee, though we have a continuation of heat right through March and then just lovely warm weather until probably mid May.

I lived in Melbourne for 10 months in the eighties, and nearly froze in March. So looking forward to going back for a holiday at some point, a lovely city.........well it was then anyway.

I am coming to Melbourne in April, I hope. My DD,DSIL and DGK live there. I was there last year for about 4 1/2 months through the end of summer and fall and t he weather was fine. Not too bad. A lot like So. Calif. I love it there. Parks everywhere and public transportation is so easy to get too.

All the cat blocks are lovely...but I do not relate well to cats, as a matter of fact I don't like cats at all! I am a dog person...so I made a heart block of my own liking! It goes well with my Jan blue/white Snowblossom!
