Need Ideas for Quick Christmas Gifts
#13
I just made one of these "Lazy Girl 1 yard 1 hour Totes." It was really quick. The only modification that I made was to line it with iron on fleece to make it stand on it's own. http://www.lazygirldesigns.com/blog/...iday-gift-bags

If they are all quilters they might appreciate a scissors pouch. It's quick and you need only sew a couple of straight lines and you can decorate or not depending on how much time you have left. There's a tutorial here:

How about a charm-thingy to hang off their scissors? They make your scissors easy to identify when at a class, etc. Just need a few beads and findings. I know that I would appreciate one of those. Happy holidays!

I have been making microwave tater bag (make sure you use the special TATER batting) and ALL cotton thread and have used muslin on the inside and they are very quick to make and have gotten great response. I also include a kleenex holder that I found pattern here. Beyond easy and quick, can use scraps and useful. Kleenex in small packs are at Dollar Tree for 6 packs for $1.00. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the ideas, I also am a late bloomer this year because of all the other things I have had to do and make for the holidays. To the store tonight to get the fat quarters for the two gifts I have to kick out for the holidays.
