You can always make a depression block with it the pattern is found here : https://www.quilterscache.com/D/DepressionBlock.html It is a great scrappy block and a fun pattern for HST's

You can create so many different designs with 1/2 square triangles they are amazing. I used to have a box of about a thousand of them- the kids used to lay on the floor and play with laying them out into different designs- we always took pictures of them. when they had one they loved we would sew them together and make a pillow, pillow case, quilt, skirt…
