Oh thank you!!!! Here is my "PRIZE". What wonderful fabrics. I was surprised to receive these because I had not seen the post that I had won. I really needed them today. Today was a long week at work. Yea I know it is only a day, but seemed like a whole week. Ha Ha.

I too am cutting like mad. Sorting though all of this stash has me thinking and restoring. I am cutting several different sizes to go back in the storage bins. Hopefully getting it all cut either in blocks from 1.5 to fat quarters will make it easier to both store and find the perfect fabric for those projects I want to create.

great idea cutting different sizes. I usually cut 2.5 square 5" square and 2.5 x 5" square.

Nice to have projects ready to go.

Finished another quilt with our candy squares. This quilt started with the border fabric then I picked out squares with the matching colors. Just need to bind it. This one is for my mother in law.

    Love it!

I am STILL cutting! Thought that I had plenty of fabric. Some things are small scraps and others are yardage. I had no clue! Oh well, at least I am getting it organized.

    Okay 9pm time for another contest....contest #3

    Who am I????

As I was sitting in my favorite chair, reading my favorite book, our oldest daughter, Jessica walked in wearing a bright red sweater. "Mom", she said, "are you pet sitting for anyone this weekend". Just as I was to answer her, our daughter Adrianne appeared in the library with it's purple walls. "Mom" she said, "I think you should start a pet sitting business." At that , my husband piped up, saying, "As long as you and I can still have our movie nights, with popcorn, I'm good with that idea."

    Who am I?????

Pm me with the answer by tuesday February 26, 2013 by 9pm...

Gorgeous quilt. Thanks for the idea of finding border fabric and then picking squares to go with it. I would not have thought of that.
