Just thought I would show you this: it is the way I organize my fabric squares after they are cut ready to ship off to some lucky person.
I bought this at Joann fabrics...can't remember how much but i am sure their was a coupon involved.
After I cut my squares I start at #1 spot(far left) and put a candy square in each cubby. When I need to send someone squares I just take the amount I need out of a cubby and count out the amount I need. cubby #1 is for me and so is cubby #2 this leaves the other 15 to trade away. Hope this makes sense. Each cubby has only 1 of each fabric. I do keep track of who I send them to.(If I can) If I trade with that person again I can send more squares from the same cubby which will give them different squares.

LoL I've been out if town watching Princess golf in her college tournament. Barb you are so funny. And clever! AND I love the quilt you posted. Matching squares to border is such a good idea. Can't wait to see your pink baby quilt and I may have to copy your organization method too.
