Sorry to hear about your Mother! But quilting is such good therapy. In my early history of quilting, I too, worked on a quilt when my Dad passed away. It was of Christmas fabrics and the first Christmas after he passed, I couldn't put that quilt out. The next Christmas it meant so much to me! Blessings and prayers to you. J

i am sorry to hear about your mother. My heart goes out to you. I lost my husband, mother and best friend in 18 months.

What a comforting thing for you to do to keep yourself sane. The pain of losing your mom will last a life time, but at some point, you will look at your quilts, think of her, and smile.

Teresa - I am so sorry about your mother. It is not an easy thing to go thru. Your sewing is so beautiful. I wouldnt know the first thing about sewing on silk, it looks difficult.
