I am so sorry about your mother. Glad you can keep sewing to occupy your mind and your hands. Beautiful pieces. They will be a great tribute to your mother. Hugs and prayers coming your way.

Sorry to hear about your Mother! But quilting is such good therapy. In my early history of quilting, I too, worked on a quilt when my Dad passed away. It was of Christmas fabrics and the first Christmas after he passed, I couldn't put that quilt out. The next Christmas it meant so much to me! Blessings and prayers to you. J

What a comforting thing for you to do to keep yourself sane. The pain of losing your mom will last a life time, but at some point, you will look at your quilts, think of her, and smile.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. In spite of it all you've managed to create two very beautiful quilt pieces. It's good that you have quilting to help you through this difficult time.

Teresa - I am so sorry about your mother. It is not an easy thing to go thru. Your sewing is so beautiful. I wouldnt know the first thing about sewing on silk, it looks difficult.
Bleass you and your family thru this difficult time. Thought and prayers are with you.
