    Tim,
Thank you for the lovely challenge! As soon as we clear the decks of grandkids I'll be pulling out my fabrics. I can hardly wait. I'm pretty sure I'll need focus though!
Patrice thank you for the alternate sizes. I may have to try one of each size... just because!
    I can hardly wait!!!

I am SOOOO far behind on my BoTM's, that I may never catch up, but I will have to start the process with this one & work my way backward.

    Tim,
WOW! I love your color choice. I went the conventional way, but I think yours is so much happier. I'll try to make another one with more daring colors like yours. Thanks for the challenge.

Your Mariners Compass was much more traditional than my Compass Star. I like it. Someday I will paper piece a huge Mariner's Compass as the center block for a large bed quilt.

    Someday.

Too much to do in the mean time.

Deb, go to Clotilde online catalog. I bought a low shank for my old machine. It worked great, doesn't matter the age of the machine as much as the shank size. Some things haven't changed much with machines.

Tim, yer killin' this old lady............but I love the design!!
