    Go with something "in the air" upper right...I agree you need to add something there. I think it will pull the whole thing together. Butterfly would be my preference.

    I would take the blue bird and stem and reverse them and applique them in the top right as if they are a tree branch and bluebird sitting on the tree branch.

    It would add symmetry and balance (two things I've learned this past week are necessary in quilts - from a certificated quilt judge). You may never submit the quilt for judging, but over time something symmetrical keeps its value ("I like it"-ness) longer than something off balance.

    I agree with others that the top needs something, it is a little bottom heavy right now. It is very pretty- what a good idea, to take a normal quilt and take it to a higher level!
