Somewhere I read of making bluebird food using cornmeal. Do any of you bird watchers know this receipt?

I will follow this, I thought the just ate bugs. Our stay year round so maybe if I fed them, we would see them more in the winter.

Here is a site with a recipe, and it also tells you all about feeding bluebirds.

I have had them in my yard for years and they only eat on the side where they can find worms and bugs, especially after cutting the grass. They never go to the feeders.

Hey Minda, thanks for posting the bluebird site. I have all the ingrediants for the food except. Can't wait to see my husband's face when I start cracking the black oil sunflower seeds to get the chips to put in the bluebird feed! Just kidding! Anyway, thank you.
