I'm disappointed...

I went the Bali Pop route one time for my first and only French Braid. I'll never buy them again. Unless the cutting accuracy has improved immensely, the advertised 2-1/2" width is unreliable. And anyway, I prefer yard goods. I've never bought fat quarters, but I might.

But... with 14-20 different fabrics in each bundle, I don't think I could afford to do a dozen colorways, like Hoffman did. But then again, when they come out with new Bali pops they only do six colorways. So maybe I wouldn't have to be all THAT ambitious.
I was so hoping that they would have done FQ bundles of the lovely seahorse/seashell ones they made last year. Those were simply gorgeous. (sigh)

You're not kidding about that.
Let's see... I could order 100 bolts of batiks, and make five different gorgeous FQ bundles... but then we won't be able to buy anything else all month and... only batik lovers will be happy with me and everyone else will be mad.
Hmmmm... I don't think I should do that. :|
(It sure would be fun, though!)
