    I have recently started doing redwork quilts and find this stitch very interesting. You do very good work, very even. Thank you for sharing.

    love the video. I don't have an embroidery machine and I was looking for a way to make a quilt with all the quotes that I love. I think I know how now.... Thanks!

    I got my mag with this in it too and think I may give it a try. I imagine you are to use wool, and not sure how that would do in the wash?

    This is also known as the Palestrina Stitch. Great instructions w/pics can be found at embroidery.rocksea.org

    I use # 8 perle cotton in the little balls for my Redwork. Here is a sample of the # 8 and 6strand embroidery floss. They are both colour fast.

    I've never seen this before and I come from a long line of stitchers, plus I used to work in a cross-stitch/needlwork supply store. I really like it!
