I just got this machine and it has a great stitch. I have a question, maybe you all can help me with. I threaded the machine with Superior Invisible Thread on the top and cotton thread in the bobbin, but I can only get a little ways before it breaks. I did not have this problem with cotton thread, top and bottom. I have threaded the machine per the examples for polyester or thread that tangles or breaks (both of them) in the instruction manual, but it still only goes a little ways before the top thread breaks. Can you tell me if you have had luck with the invisible thread, and if so what settings you use? Thanks so much!

MonoPoly is very thin as it should be. Is not sticky nor thick. I use it alot. As suggested by Superior, use a topstitch thread. I turn my tension down to 2. I also use a thin cotton in the bobbin. Do not use your thread cutter as it will snap out of the needle. Its the best invisible on the market. Will not turn yellow or brittle like nylon will. Another thought, you may want to put the spool in a jar or a container as it may be getting twisted and caught during delivery to the thread path. That did happen to me. Operator error not the threads fault!!

Thanks everyone for the help with the invisible thread problem. I changed the tension to 2, and Yay - it works like a charm! I did some practice and it did not break once! You guys are the best!!! I find it so much easier to STID and follow a design with this machine, than I did with my Baby Lock. It must be because it is a straight stitch machine.
