    No Mouse, its not that....basically you build your flowers or whatever by stitching the many pieces together only where they overlap. The stitching is done through the filter. When you get the flower or whatever done...you have the inner part all turned and done with only the seam allowances open on the outside of the shape. You then carefully tear away the filter and sew the shape down. Its a different way to do it.

    Candace, its good to see you again! I don't know why we sometimes get dropped...happens to all of us...GRRRR!

    Hey it was officially 112 degrees here yesterday.hottest day on record since 1936. Our thermometer registered 114 in the shade. Thank you Lord for ac. I am working on block 10 now.Have to work hard to catch up. Oh what fun.

    Oh I forgot to say. I won a 100$ gift certificate in the June fab shop hop and I got an assortment of quarter yd. batiks to work on my AOTH should be arriving any day now.Cant wait.

    How lucky are you! Congratulations. I would be on pins and needles waiting for those fabrics to get here. Make sure you post pictures.
