QLG. Also sending prayers for your daughter. About 10 years ago hubbies sister was just starting her vacation in Teddy Rosevelt StatecPark. The have always been horse people also. Several hours in something spooked her horse and he threw her. This was before everyone had a cell phone and most likely there wouldn't have been reception anyway. It took them 4 hours to get her out into a clearing where a helicopter was waiting. I don't remember what all she broke besides her back. Her Dh was a vet and he knew it was serious. They rigged some kind of brace out of limbs, horse blankets and rope. That saved her from being paralyzed or worse yet. She was in a halo and full body cast for months but made a full recovery. She always says her dh's arthritis is much worse then her residule aches and pains. Sure hope your dd recovers as well as Louis did.
