I bought a Black and Decker and it didn't last 2 months. When I contacted the company, they wouldn't stand behind their product. The second iron I purchased was from Hamilton Beach. Within 6 months, it also leaked. I contacted them and they told me to select any iron whatsoever from the online catalog. I have had it for two years now with no leaking whatsoever. I will never buy another B and D product of any kind.

My life depend on IRON because I love wearing Cotton fabric, I always buy my Iron at Walmart, they're very reasonable,
of course Black and Decker on top of my list, and others is just as good as long as you take care of it, I put just little water and use spray bottle from the Dollar store. Just always have a spare ( Iron) You' ll never know when that thing will gonna die or stop working. I agree, even the expensive one Leak.

This is very timely. I've been clenching my $50 Joanns gift card and waiting for a sale on the Oliso iron. They are supposed to be 30% off, which makes this purchase a little easier to swallow--but I am now re-thinking it. I'm still going to pay almost $100 for an iron that might leak. My BD is working fine. Maybe I will better spend my dollars on a binding machine by Simplicity. Also on sale.

My Costco iron was terrific until it just died. I threw on a coat and went to my corner hardware store where I bought a $14.99 iron. It has not leaked, steams up when I want it to and is a great deal. I think I'll buy a back up !!

I love my Rowenta. I use a spray bottle so no leaking problems, but I love the weight and heat of it. I've had it for 7 or 8 years and it's still going strong.
