    I haven't gotten a new coat in years, so that's probably number one. Beyond that I am really open to anything.

    I really have no hope of actually receiving these:

    new set of chef's knives
    half sheet baking pan
    grain mill

    Might have better luck if you give a detailed description to "Santa's Helpers" - like what you want - Brand name/model - where to obtain - approximate cost - etc.

    I just bought my own gift this year. If I don't buy my own or give my husband detailed lists, he will spend too much money on something that I don't really want or need.

    I was shopping after Christmas sales last year and found a cashmere camel colored long coat I loved. The cost was much more then I would pay for a coat though even being on sale. The saleslady said I have one that size that has flaw that I can sell you for half the sale price. I looked at it and there was a tiny black mark on the cuff. I bought it, used a soft brush and brushed out the mark or brushed it deeper, anyway it's gone. So be sure and check out the after Christmas sales for expensive items.

    Yeah...I sure did. I told my dau exactly what I wanted in the way of knives. She's a total foodie, a, "cooking compadre," and certainly knows her way around a kitchen. She was over here the other night and whispered to me that she told him what knives to get, but no promises. She wasn't so sure that he was listening. Fingers crossed!

    I'm hoping my latest quilting themed t-shirt comes today (should be here before Christmas), once again I ran out of bobbin thread and didn't find out until I had "stitched" an entire set of pieces. Thread had run out last inch of the last piece, turned over the set and sewed them all again to no avail. It's funny that I never really had problems with this with my vintage machines, it was just something I was aware of. Now that I've been sewing on the modern machine that actually stops when I'm out of thread I've slacked off.

    Shirt is: It's all fun and games until the bobbin runs out

    I did use my new stock pot to make turkey stock and tamales.
